I like King's early novels and short stories, but he doesn't understand movies very well.

They are right.  Try to track down his comedy albums "A Star is Bought" and "Comedy Minus One."

"I have so many great records!"

THANK YOU, my favorite scene from my favorite movie.  I think of the line "Are you gonna run broke?" at odd moments and cackle like a crazed hobo.

Smiley Face, Observe and Report, Lost in Translation

My favorite element of tonight's episode was the Bunny's belief that placing an item under your bed renders it secure.  Maureen stashes her blood-soaked murder evidence uniform there…guess she was waiting to accumulate some more stuff for the dry cleaners…and Brenda keeps her life savings in an unlocked box under hers.

Blowout
Splash
True Grit
Any Which Way But Loose

That's the point of the joke, I think…Scranton is backwards and they get things late.

I lost my virginity while playing Murmur for the first time on a boom box (my girlfriend brought the tape over).  I distinctly remember being in the middle of the event when Shaking Through came on and thinking "Jesus, this is a beautiful song" when my attention should have been elsewhere.

Ms. Stowe also starred in a movie titled "Revenge."  Bit of a rut?

Clemmy was the BEST on Reno 911.  So, so funny and cute.  And hot.  My favorite scene of hers is when she goes undercover at the head shop, trying to buy weed from another undercover cop.

"Time After Time/Was my least favorite song"

Harborcoat or Wolves, Lower…both are mysterious (if not inscrutable), atmospheric, rousing, and haunting.  Pure REM essence, for me.

Gotcha, me too.  I just thought Mr. Heisler was a little unfair in that characterization of the series as a whole.

Ders is a pretentious, materialistic, wannabe yuppie.  Blake is a sensitive, eccentric hippie doofus.  Adam is an id unleashed, sort of a demented 4-year-old in an adult body.

Agreed, I wish I could have seen the version Todd apparently got.  Dennings is charismatic, but this was just shrill and witlessly crude, horribly paced, stocked with Wayans Brothers-level generic and hacky characters…a hopeless turd of a show.

Ted's color chart was bullshit.  He rated the white contender as more attractive, but that black woman was one of the most stunning ladies I've seen on TV in a long time.

For the first 20 minutes, I thought Sheen was being played by Corey Feldman.

This sounds interesting and I'll check it out, but I'd like to request coverage of the truly most awesome weapons-based reality show:  THE DEADLIEST WARRIOR!

Maybe it's because I'm midwestern (and I've lived in NYC for the past 15 years)…but I'm always a little put off by how hostile and rude everyone is to each other on this show, particularly when they are ostensibly good friends.
