A-
I've gone everywhere the show has taken me, even if it's a little clunky in execution. But I'm along the for the pulpy ride and the doomed romance. (People do take it way too seriously though, and have been since the pilot).
I'd make a terrible critic…

Implying Moffat doesn't deliver me "emotion". Moffat and has made me cry more than RTD. That's my scientific conclusion.

Oh my god, people are completely missing the point of Saul's outburst. He was warning Fara that he couldn't afford to have a hijab-wearing woman around in the aftermath if she didn't deliver (if it's not obvious by the stares she got in her opening scene). That's what I got from it, and what I think the writers

I think that's the fault of the editing or directing. This was a first-time director (who has a lot of experience writing the show), and in my opinion they had the less talented editor on the episode. Nonetheless, impressive for a first-time director and the writing and acting continues to be top-notch.

I was waiting for someone to mention Kurt Vile!

It's a massive year for Big Comeback Albums. But none of those are their best work

First page was disappointing, second page had Laura Marling and Savages, so all good. Those two albums definitely in the top 10 of the year, Savages probably the best debut album of the year

I'm in the camp that if Dan Harmon can't run his show, then it should be cancelled.

I don't care if I don't look cool here, but maybe the reason why we're not cutting it any slack is because Dan Harmon is a CRAZY FUCKING GENIUS and he was FIRED. Nerd-rage is a perfectly valid point, we're allowed to lament the loss of awesome brains even when the remaining ones are still pretty good.
P.S. My love of

Pretty much, yes. And I don't think that's a bad thing. Sandy's interactions with Hannah was all a way of Lena Dunham acknowledging that her depiction may be too narrow, but also that this is not what the show is about. Case in point - Sandy and Hannah's argument over who is 'fetishizing' the other's race. Both of

If only more people recognised that they have irrational hatred of things, and that it's ok! (in such trivial matters, anyway)

But the economic situation is a pretty thin layer of difference. I just feel like this is such a common experience of twentysomethings, regardless of their actual circumstances. I don't even live in America, for chrissakes.

It doesn't help that we've kind of adopted it semi-ironically. Too much is made of 'voice of a generation' and not enough of 'voice of twentysomething neurosis'

I fit into both groups, yet I love Girls. Both because of it's artistic and entertainment value, but also because I think it speaks to the twentysomething experience. My circumstances are different, yet I still relate, because I'm a twentysomething with insecurities. I feel like the only people who don't relate in any

Jessa was pretty smart in this episode. I like how she's sorted out some of her shit in a completealy Jessa-like way. It would've been out of character to hitch with some guy who was NOT Thomas John!

I think your opinion of the issue as depicted in the film is also dependant on your opinion of the issue in the real world. I think the film is very straightforward and neutral with little spin. Whether you respond positively or negatively to what happened in the film probably also reflect your real-world views.

I'm a man. I love Girls. I hate Sex and the City. Out.

Brody is definately responsible (though the show will do it's darndest to keep us unsure). But that's what makes the most sense, from a character and plot level.

I actually liked the first half, people really just need to go with the thriller tropes, this show isn't totally revolutionary in that regard. As serious as the tone is, you really just need to have fun with it, this it isn't all about disecting the human condition all the time.
