You're just being silly now. People a lot more well-read and far smarter than you or I think it is a work of art. Fair enough, you don't like it. I hate Forrest Gump, but I would never claim it was unwatchable.

Even if you think it is bad (I don't, and it seems to have supporters here), to claim it is unreadable is laughable.
OU812 was fairly prescient also. [Gently pats belly]
"were the book readable" Wha?
I hate that stuff. I've never even considered buying a Pop! figurine….. until I saw the Laura Palmer one.
I figure if we let our female children buddy up with a few of them, we will be protected in the upcoming revolution.
Clamouring? No. Willing to pay? Yes.
Depending on the odds, I'm leaning towards Casey Affleck and Natalie Portman. I imagine La La Land will be favourite, so I might take a punt on Moonlight.
We can. We won't. We have a buzzword edict.
"..and this is the famous hallway that many have said was awash with a tidal wave of blood…..of course, you'd have to be an idiot to believe that. Let's discuss the wallpaper instead."
Yeah. It's great. It glosses over some issues (like Grant's heroin addiction), but otherwise it's startlingly honest about how the band was.
I started watching the TV show Children of Dune the other day. It was as truncated and full of exposition as I expected, but I still enjoyed it and it filled me with nostalgia. So, this morning I was thinking of re-reading God-Emperor for the first time in 20 years. I hope I don't regret it.
Have you read Grant & I yet?
I hope you replied!
All I asked for was a girl who was a "demon in the sack." God-damned monkey-paw.
Yeah, he was one of the authors I'm planning to explore. I'd actually read that story somewhere before and loved it. Any recommendation on what to start with?
I'm not sure there is any scientific way to differentiate mental illness and the work of the devil.
The Year's Best Science Fiction & Fantasy 2011. It's hard to go wrong with these things. Plenty of authors I've never heard of before and a few I'll keep an eye out for in future. It's a large collection and I think I've only skipped 2 stories for being dull.
My year 6 class had to sing Yellow Bird. Years later, I still loathe it form the core of my colon.
Off topic, but Battle Royale 2 has to be one of the worst sequels of all time.
