You guys are snarky conservatives. Jesse is the moral compass of this show, and the most redeeming character besides obviously Hank Walt Jr. and the other non-criminals.

And yet we haven't seen Walt get his dick wet with anyone but Skylar all show. Not that I think it's coming, but it's not very Scarface. I suppose Lydia is his only current alternative (in a TV narrative sense) and that seems like a long and wierd shot.

Yes! As he walks to the bedroom in the end, she tries to shoot a blast of smoke at him as he leaves down the hall. It's like, anything she can do. And of course the ricin is in the house (and forever in play, Chekov).

Did anyone else notice the subtle location hint putting Lydia's office in Houston? Well I'm from there, so I was a bit disappointed that looking out the window in was obviously still ABQ judging from the sand and scrubs. I mean I know there is a limited budget, but Houston in grassy and heavily pine forest. But maybe

I don't know why you guys are picking on Anna Gunn as if confusing the character for the actress. She was clearly cast to play a ball-busting suburban American mom in order for Walt's path from emasculation to autonomy and rebellion to reach this point. I think such people (entitled, secure, naive) are common in the

Other points can be made of course…like how she's the one who see's ethics through financial terms. Like all those accountants that cooked books for Enron and MF Global but don't see themselves as villains. This show is definitely trying to make subtle points about where things like the financial crisis stem from.

I'll back up and support this point, this was a great Gunn moment. She totally sold the terror of crawl space. She's definitely supposed to be uptight, ie hen pecking Walt early on and being anti-pot for a cancer patient. But I never doubted her complexity. I love the Skylar character, don't think I'm one of those

Y'all are some judgmental fellas, but I feel it. However the Brock thing was off-camera. And Ted has been slimy and selfish, and a passive extortionist, but given his current predicament, what if Walt came in and just suffocated him to death? To me, that would indicate additional breaking bad points rather than a

Yes, please avoid the internet so we don't have to hear your whining. The name of an episode this season is "51", it's just a general timeline. The writers assumed your would know that, at least super fans would. There's playing off that very speculation, and will likely use it to usurp those assumptions like they

I get it. She's supposed to be typical uptight suburban American mom. I think Anna Gunn generally does it well, but Donna is right, she doesn't pull of terrified very well here. But previously when her empty blue eyes get really big, and she has some kind of deep-cutting shit to say, she makes up for it.

He never resigned you boneheads. He was suspended without pay pending further investigation, but Jesse dropped the charges so he would have been reinstated but later in that episode (One Minute) he of course got shot up.
