Could Walt be in witness protection in New Hampshire for his 52nd birthday, waiting for the Arizona crew, Lydia, the neo-nazis, and/or perhaps even the Czechs to show up?

You're right. My mistake! I think I heard once of a group that robbed safe deposit boxes in banks because people were less likely to report cash being stolen since it was illegal to have it there. Obviously that aspect, at the very least, was wrong. And so was I. Mea culpa.

Also, it's illegal to keep cash in a safe deposit box.

During my teenage years I must have seen Killbots and Chopping Mall at least half-a-dozen (my guess is nine) times before I realized they were the same movie.

That's a good point… even despite the pool party comment of, 'Only one year? It seems like we're just entering the fifth… but one year it is," I was thinking about it as longer.

To be honest, I'm guessing Walt will swallow it when he's finally cornered. He's bought the M-60 for some sort of last stand, but I don't see him doing it—especially against the police. Taking the ricin and dying relatively slowly in his home, like he wanted to do at the beginning of the show, might be fitting.

No ricin?
No ricin?
Maybe he could finally win over the principal from series 1.
