Eh.

?

Confession: I had to look up the definition of Apéritif.

I don't know that I can get used to Hannibal's atmospheric-driven style if they keep it up every episode. If it were a movie I would probably be pretty excited to experience it just once, but as a week to week TV show I just don't see myself getting used to this. Essentially it was pretty brutal. Given, this is a show

I am not looking forward to ratings tomorrow.

The water wings bit sealed the deal for me.

We need ice!

eh. I feel like they handled Pierce as a villain pretty well in Season 2. The D&D episode was a shock to the system, but on 2nd viewing it really made sense to me.

I always assumed it was because ratings are in comparison to the entire series.

Honestly this seemed like the strongest out of Season 4 with regards to actual plot & character interaction. Everything seemed "normal" within the show's universe, which is something I couldn't say about previous Season 4 episodes.

ARGHGHG Brie Larson is younger than me. God dangit I feel like the Pierce of the comment section now.

If I'm being completely objective Brie Larson seems like a poor man's Zooey Deschanel. (which isn't a bad thing at all)… (also is that really how she spells her name?)

I was actually kind of upset about the lack of closure with the two dates as well. I would've expected they use the tag for that.

Oh god I made a Joker line without realizing it. Throw a tarp over me please.

I actually kinda liked this episode.

and here we go

FWIW Bobrow has stated that there are 2 remaining "bad" episodes left in the season. Not sure if there's any truth to it, he can be pretty hard on himself.

I'm half joking here, but they really are Blue's Clues for older people. That's really all you need to know as to why they can be both popular and boring at the same time.
