I wouldn't be surprised if there were a lot of missing scenes, because there are some serious narrative gaps in this.

I don't get why dead daddy would care so much about the daughters he was going to murder either. That was annoying, agreed.

Maybe you're right. I've been watching since 2004. It just seems like this show has been on for longer than anything else I watch and it makes me think of how much time has gone by. Though- it does seem that there were some years that weren't as good as others.

Yes, I did see that, and thanks for labeling it so, but I was suggesting that watching the previews are hardly compulsory, particularly if you are bothered by "why ABC (or networks in general) feel they need to immediately spoil cliffhangers like this".

Yeah, I was amazed at what good behavior she was on throughout the whole family thing. She did everything absolutely right, and the look on her face when Fauxbo's mom gave her the verbal crotch kick right in her I-grew-up-eating-pancake-mix-in-the-trailer-park boo-boo made me feel devastated and ashamed on her behalf.
