I really don't, but now that you've brought it up…purple kittens, huh?

Do yourself a favor and never go to Scotland or your head will explode. Tommy Flannigan's accent is actually rather watered down compared to a lot of Scottish (and Irish) accents.

Compromise, Kendry. We can keep SOA and have an alternative universe spin off of The Companionator.

Well, the always-hilarious caveat about the cinematography of that lucious, majestic landscape in this show: those damn intrusive mountains of Alberta getting all up in our idealized historical Nebraska!

The chemistry between Jax and Tara actually seems to be growing now that she's accepted his presidency/involvement in the Club hook, line, and sinker. These two actors have never failed to act the fuck out of being in love with one another even when the script has utterly let the characters themselves down. I've had a…

Really? After Dawn got torched I was sure this was the darkest timeline. I did a quick facial hair count and discovered that we are well above the minimum evil goatee quorum required.

She's matching Tara tank top for tank top and joint for joint, though unlike Gemma she IS in on ALL the club business now. Clay only fed Gemma bits and pieces- or Gemma figured things out on her own. Jax is even telling the lawyer that Tara is in the inner circle now.

All the articles running up to this season that I read described him as being a mentor to Jax. I suppose it's a matter of opinion whether anyone could be a good or bad mentor. A "bad influence" in terms of this show would be Nero steering Jax away from the Club, because OMFG every other plot thread in this show has to…
Well, that, and the convenient Hollywood device of "what the white person learned from the natives, any natives". The esoteric knowledge is always a poultice, something to chew on medicinally, or something that could poison someone.

I would have graded it higher. It was the first episode of this series I could honestly say I enjoyed, and the cinematography was gorgeous. Too bad so many people have already made up their minds that this show can only produce mediocre episodes, because they might have enjoyed the ride as much as I did.

I'm riding with you, StudioTodd. I seriously don't understand what is with the people on this board with this show. I watched this episode as it unfolded thinking, "Oh my God. Has Hell On Wheels finally produced a slick, solid episode? Is this what I've been waiting for; the reason I gave this show a shot in the first…
