AND like most mystery tv shows I hope the writers spend several seasons building an intricate conspiracy only to have the answer be something like "it was a dream all along!"

I'm afraid that if I re-watch it now the ending would destroy me even more than when I first saw it.

Also, I got the sense that all the Republicans interviewed in "Boogeyman" didn't really respect Atwater . . . they just appreciated that he was on their side.

The most frustrating thing is that the movie is full of potentially good ideas that are wasted by poor execution. Although the movie made me appreciate a lot of Cronenberg's stuff even more (not making a direct comparison, but there's some similar themes) because in the wrong hands this kind of horror film can fall…
