I know, I know . . . I'm HORRIBLE!

Last line of the pilot:

"Lee Daniels' Lee Daniels: The Butler"

Just as Jesus intended!

I know . . . I think the movie "Weekend" from 2011 went the unrated route. With all that really explicit gay male sex I think they just figured it was better to not deal with the MPAA.
My theory is that perhaps one of the distributors thinks that a lesbian love story actually rated NC-17 might attract more viewers,

Women enjoying sex? AND WITH EACH OTHER!?

An Oscar for "Trumbo", a Tony for "All the Way" and he's already got several Emmys . . . he's just got to do some awesome spoken word piece or book on tape for that Grammy.

EGOT for Cranston!

Every time he said that, I wanted to punch him in the face. Such a great villain.

Yet another reason for me to hate people.

This interview makes me want to hang out with Weller. I'd like to ask him more about his theater career . . . sounds like he was in some cool stuff.

For Our Consideration?

Yet another reason for me to hate children.

Yep.

I was worried about all those things you've mentioned in the "August: Osage County" review (sappy, ham handed handling of the material etc.) mostly because I couldn't fathom Hollywood doing a faithful adaptation of that play with that prestigey cast. I will still see it . . . because Margo Martindale.

Faster. More tears.

I hope the first season has terrible pop or acoustic version of songs from the musical

“The mailbox was Haldeman!"

I love how snarky this review is and the movie seems like the kind of lazy production that deserves it.

But what about that black guy? You know the one . . . he did that one thing.
