You're suggesting Moffat is the lesser Davies?

Yeah, I assumed that, much like the McHale/Seacrest thing was an in-joke about their resemblance and McHale's taunting of Seacrest on The Soup, the Faux-Dean thing was a reference to how people mix those two actors up. In fact, back in season one when Troy said that the Dean "looks like Moby!", I still thought they

"Is Community about its characters, or its brilliant (yet empty) self-reflexive mastery of whatever storytelling form it touches?"… It can't be about its characters AND interesting storytelling?

It got nominated last year.

Where could I find that? It sounds pretty good.

AV Club itself gave the Watchmen movie a B.

Seriously? Thoroughly "meh" movies Fast Food Nation and Brief Interviews get mentions, but Watchmen didn't? Obviously it's a much more polarizing result, but the ambition in the final film at least deserves some credit (and, personally, I thought it was really good).

Really happy that you took the advice to include more context for each clip. Much better, more accessible second episode.

Matt Braunger's delivery of "And then we DON'T DIE!" was my biggest laugh out of all the NBC shows tonight.

'“I just found myself sitting home asking myself, ‘What am I going to do now?’” Crow says of those dark days when it seemed as though her life were already over, because she wasn’t immediately famous at the age of 14.'

Maybe the same 17-year-old contract deal that prevents them from syndicating the show on cable? (Remember how it came up during the voice actor negotiations last year?)

To be fair, Dave is completely different than Louie.

So what're the odds that the visual hook behind these ads is celebrities stepping out of literal closets?

@avclub-859c882f08dc1f2cc7852b26a4e39937:disqus : BECAUSE THIS IS REDDIT, DAMMIT. THIS AIN'T SOME INTERVIEW BULL. THIS IS AN AMA.

They won't tag it, because they're crazy like that. They actually didn't tag the post where Donald Glover made a PSA to save Community, which was an entirely-Community post.

I believe they said before that Wednesday at noon was the cut-off. Thus Superego made it, but the Tompkast released in the afternoon wasn't.

Because it's hilarious that so many articles unrelated to Community have been tangentially tagged and this one has not.

Yeah, he wrote last week's episode. I assume he worked on Dynamite earlier last year and joined this season of Parks and Rec while waiting for the show to premiere/see if more episodes will be commissioned.
