Carol Ann Duffy is another contemporary great. Less well known are Andrea Gibson and Warsan Shire (although Gibson's more well known for her live performances), and their work is just absolutely shattering.

I don't know how this show managed to become one of my favourites of the season, but I'm going with it. At this point I want to kiss each of the writers on the mouth because it is a joy to watch such wonderful character building (the same reason why New Girl is one of my favourite comedies at the moment).
