Thank you! This is actually helpful for me.

And Time magazine!

Twilight and THG were both extremely popular series. And both had pretty big adult followings.

I keep avoiding East of Eden thinking I'll read the novel first. I should just admit it's not going to happen and watch the movie.

I've seen people hoping that doing Batman leads to him dropping out of Gone Girl.

It's scary that the reunion was for a group that I was a little too old for to begin with. I was in my early 20's during N*Sync's heyday.

It's embarrassing, but Yes Man is one of my favorite movies. I watch it when I'm down and it never fails to make me laugh. Plus, I identify with the themes of not wanting to go outside of your comfort zone.

@avclub-9024f9f0a80d2d248c7c6efb2e715c37:disqus  beat me too it. There aren't tons of great Captain America runs. Ed Brubaker's run is the best, IMO. But I've always had a good deal of affection for the character and think he was underrated for far too long.

Riz Ahmed is so gorgeous. I wish he had played Khan in the Trek movie. But then again, he probably would have been blamed for the suckiness of it.

The Cap movie was a pleasant surprise, but I don't think Winter Soldier is going to be that good. But if it gets people to check out the comics, then it's all good.

It's sad, but when I have Sundays off, I plan them around these reviews. I go out about an hour after they're supposed to be posted. If they're not posted at 3pm EST, I'm screwed.

I love It Happened One Night. I saw it mentioned on WOT, and I wanted to dig out my DVD.

Right now: I'm reading the AVC walkthrough with Bob's Burgers show runner Loren Bouchard.

Aww, I'm so sad that this went up after I left my place to meet up with friends. :( It's sad, but I kind of plan my day around the reviews going up the designated time (if I have the day off).

I get the SAG part of it all; that happens all the time. The explanation that @avclub-e3f5ab7f02122f95b801e13e2c586d6a:disqus gave makes the the most sense to me.

This has been an awful summer for celebrity deaths.

Lesley Warren (no Ann for some reason)

I agree. That film had a very good cast, but his performance was my favorite.

I thought he was excellent in Hollywoodland. In general, he's an actor I can take or leave.

Who is Benedict Cumberbatch's non-union, Latino equivalent? Gael Garcia Bernal?
It's Benicio del Toro, @Scrawler2:disqus . He was originally set to play the Star Trek: Into Darkness villain.
