I won't have any aggressive condiment passing in this house.
Look, I don't need this. I inhaled my favorite whistle this morning.
Yes, we did. We were trying to figure out if "Licensed Philosopher" was for real or not.
I never noticed that, and I love both songs. That probably explains why.
Same, this article and the comments work mostly as nostalgia for me. And I don't mind that at all.
So that's her? I thought she was great, but I didn't know who she was. I was going to look it up but I didn't want to be spoiled.
I've seen her name brought up around here, but I don't know much about her. But her material/persona sounds fascinating. Will have to check it out.
I might have felt the same way in another time. But when that was airing, I was in the middle of a long depression myself.
Too bad he can't get a buck for every racist comment made about him on the internet. And if you factor in the "ironic" ones, he'll have enough for a sequel.
He was on a lot of OBC recordings too. So I didn't see him as a crusty old guy at all.
Yeah, I just rewatched Lisa's speech in the church, and it was amazing.
You jest, but I'm still have hope for a "Parker Lewis Can't Lose" write up. Zach Handlen's review was 4 years ago!
My mother and sister watched this show pretty religiously. But I never got into it that much. My favorite storyline was the one where Paula Devicq's character slips into a major depression after being accused of plagiarism. I thought it was beautifully written and acted.
Why'd you mention it? Now it's going through my head.
Rinko Kikuchi was amazing in Babel. As was Adriana Barraza. The movie itself, not so much, but I think it's worth a watch.
Is there a universal experience though? I can't think of of anything that would fully reflect any individual's reality. For me, it's Bend It Like Beckham for its focus on an Indian girl, but that wouldn't be the case for many people.
I'd never gotten around to watching a Paul Thomas Anderson movie before…
I'm in the middle of the pilot of Enlightened at this moment.
Yikes! I hope things get better.
