Yeah, I understand why people wouldn't like her stand up. I kind of do though.

She's someone I've never really liked as an actress, but I'm enjoying her here.
I'm glad I'm not alone there. I was feeling kind of stupid b/c of it. But then again, I think it comes from years of reading The Onion (and AVC).
She doesn't though. The obituary doesn't contain any jokes at all. Neither do any of Marah's posts here.
Not at all.
I missed the "star" part of the headline so it read: "Storage Wars commits suicide after being arrested on drug charge". So I was expecting some story of cancellation, not an actual suicide.
I had no clue this was a thing that existed.
That's a whopping two people. And both of them have been criticized for it.
Like the Klu Klux Klan.
IA. I tend to not to care for Parker Posey, but I admired her attempts to do something with what little she was given. I thought she came off well compared to the rest of the cast.
No, I'm including the 1995 version too. I don't understand what all the fuss is about with that one. That being said, I'm aware of what an unpopular opinion that is.
I don't completely agree with what Rabin said, but I think you're right. Saying the Simpsons has no (or very little) political commentary is disingenuous, IMO.
I always forget that it's Sam Neill in the role. He was excellent though.
Pipe down, Sister! I gotta to book a new Classic Simpsons reviewer for next week. It turns out that Nathan Rabin impersonator was really Nathan Rabin.
Homer's quote about statistics is one I love and quote often. But I completely forgot is was from this episode.
"The culprit is a consummate gentleman, the sort of thoughtful chap who leaves a copy of Dealing With Loss in Bart’s arms in exchange for the portable television he sleeps with."
*hit by laser*
True, you make a good point. And again, I think that's where Netflix and Hulu (or a successor of sorts) might swoop in and save the day for you. I can see older, lesser known shows finding an audience again that way. No matter how old.
I'm not. I do live in a great area and get to see cool stuff, but not as much as NYC.
That's my problem with the thesis of this article. Marathoning has always existed in some form or another. It's not a new thing at all.
