The only intersting characters
I didn't love Aubrey or Maturin. Sure, Aubrey was portrayed as somewhat flawed, but for the most part, OBrian lets him off the hook for his greed and dangerous ambition. And everything about Maturin's character makes me think he would viciously criticize Aubrey for those qualities, but

If I had to join a gang I think I'd join Gang Starr.

I saw him perform just a few years ago and the dude looked to be in great shape—he was buff and ripped—I only know this because he kept taking off his shirt and telling the crowd to look at his abs—it was really annoying and not at all what I expected from a friend of Native Tongues.

Was the candy drugged too? Didn't Gerwig pop one in her mouth and grimace before spitting it out? Then she continued to eat the candy?

Best Gerwig Performance
So this movie, where she probably thought she was hamming it up just a bit, felt a lot more natural than her indie-style. Her stilted, slack-jawed vocal style that she uses in the indies always makes me wonder at first if she's trying to portray a character with an IQ below 100. I'm pretty

I enjoyed watching the cutie in this movie in her high waisted jeans for the full 90.

How can a denoument restore tension? By the punchline ending (which I liked), the tension is over. For me, the tension hit its height exactly where it should—at the graveyard showdown climax.

I haven't seen SERENITY, but please, Tobias, rip the shit out of it. The comments section carnage will give us weeks of entertainment.

It's a very well made film for people who like well made films and slow burn suspense and not just tiltillation and exploitation.

I'm surprised that teabaggers like Grey Man wouldn't love this throwback to the 80s, the era of Reagonomics and all of the joy that was brought to the world and working Americans.

I would like to put my andouille in her pierogi.

In the Marvel Universe, Obama has hired the Taskmaster whose sole duty is to block the constant barrage of shields thrown at the president by US Agent.

Pretty sure you're thinking of Twinkie the Kid, Dumbledore.

@GhaleonQ: Do yourself a favor and get some Steve Ditko comics, notably The Question. I kid you not, his stuff is right up your alley.

I would like to posit here that not only is Morrison's Doom Patrol better than Animal Man, it is FAR better.

Jim Aparo's Batman is and always will be my Batman.

Now that I know he played the Joker, this is the only fitting tribute for Koenig:

I prefer to stick my lighthouse into the cave, if you catch my meaning.
