Brown's the type of guy who I bet blames this type of shit on everyone else, as in these scrapes are never his fault but that of others.. Reminds me of a favorite quote from "Justified':

Never heard of him, don't vouch for him.

Fwiw later issues of the comics tackle that issue..at least having characters talk about the zombie population dying out, freezing in winter, etc. But when every non-bitten dead person comes back to life as a zombie, you're not going to run out of brain munchers anytime soon.

I tend to roll with the punches in moments like that. The doc is sick, dying and not thinking of decorum or proper sneezing techniques.

I was very tense during the Narcisse/ Daughter scene. I was half-sure he was going to kill her as revenge for Chalky burning his drugs. Would have had a certain circularity too as Narcisse was the one who killed Daughter's mother.

Any chance the writers are throwing a curve ball and Eli is going to let the kid swing before betraying Nucky again? Or would Tolliver have arrested him at the table should he have turned the offer down?

Capone is portrayed to be just as off-kilter and violent, though, and he did OK for himself in real life.

Poor Mickey..is there anyone on the show who's been smacked around and humiliated more than him? I contest that his longevity is a joke among the writers. May he never die!

I would have liked to have seen Chalky take care of Dunn w/o the cliched stab in the back from his lady love. Otherwise, great, intense scene.

Even knowing the comics I thought for a second he was going to get swarmed and then no more Tyreese. I don't generally talk to my television but i was muttering, 'no no no' until they did the cutaway and Tyreese was still alive.

Not too shabby..really liked Tyreese livening up. His character felt a bit neutered up until now. The shot of the super horde of zombies was a nice touch.

Nice one..i remember much Brad Dourif scenery chewing as well.

The entirety of that first scene of The Ring remake was very well done. Slow burn of creepy tension..i friggin hate jump scares so the smash cut to the girl's corpse flipped me out.

Lithgow's sweaty anxiety ratchets up the tension, particularly for a viewer not fond of flying.

The slow build up to the chest burster scene is what sells it, even if you know what's coming. More disturbing to me upon multiple viewings is the Ash reveal scene, particularly how he tries to suffocate Ripley with a rolled up magazine. Then his "interview" at the end when he's this disembodied head covered with

The 'help me' scene from the original Fly utterly terrified me as a kid. The spider's hideous maw closing in, the high-pitched pathetic shrieks of Fly man, the look of horror on his face. Man did that scare. Don't even want to revisit the scene because it would lose some of its power.

The remake of Invasion of the Body Snatchers had a couple of disturbing scenes..two that stick out are when Donald Sutherland brutally destroys his pod, as well as the famous closing moment when it's revealed he's been turned. That hideous shriek…which Futurama did a parody of!

Good one! Very creepy bit, that.

This was pre-We Can't Stop so the writers happened upon the next best thing. Although would it have killed them to have her sing Traveling Wilburys, man?

Yeah but the older girl is 'messed up' and gives names to the zombies.
