So Jesse figured out the switch-a-roo, but knows that ricin would've killed Brock, and the kid didn't die. How did Jesse connect the dots while knowing the effects of ricin?

Snyder has made one good movie …the Dawn of the Dead remake. Rest of his flicks are sumptuous visually but lacking…something. Gravitas? Chutzpah? I don't know, but his work comes off as cold somehow.

Agree to a point, but it's a realistic reaction to all that's befallen those around him, and Jesse is already up to his neck  in self-loathing. Nor is he able to see the bigger picture - that all that cash would get  him the fuck out of Dodge and anywhere he wants. Maybe it wouldn't matter if he left b/c the money…
