Loved the look on Tim's face when Raylan gave him the 'don't say shit' line. It's like Tim knew he was full of it and had a dopey grin on his face by way of apology.

Zack's point is fair: Why did Andrea back out of killing Gov, and more importantly, why should the audience care? The show's too damn wishy washy w/ this shit. It would have been far more interesting if Andrea totally fell in line with the Gov and became his second lieutenant, turning completely on the prison group.

I don't think having an overarching plot (like they're searching for a cure or what have you) is needed. What's needed is better writing. People bash Kirkman but he's able to make "just surviving" compelling.

to be fair Rick is making his squirrely face because his wife died giving birth, was shot in the head by his son, then eaten whole by a zombie. The Andrea stuff i cannot defend.

Can he say that?!

First time I saw it was probably 12-13, at a friend's with permissive parents (My house didn't even have a VCR much less cable). Part of a double feature with Robocop..so yeah two of the best action flicks of all time back-to-back. It was a good day, that one.

Who wrote the ballistics report is my question. And how long did it take them.

'no more table' guy? The Fabio-looking one? I was straining my brain a bit on that comment, too, and I love Die Hard as much as the next guy.

Wasn't there going to be a Die Hard where John gets stranded somewhere (the Amazon, maybe) and has to fight his way out sans weaponry? I'd see that.

I like it as well…a very good sequel all things considered. Some ridiculous stuff happens but it works well within the context of the DH universe. Sadler is no Hans but an interesting and sadistic bad guy nonetheless. Plus a sweet cameo by Robert Patrick and the utterance of "Yipee-ki-yay Mr. Falcon" if you were

Fair review, Zack. Tonight's shenanigans felt a little, I don't know,  filibustery. The Drew Thompson chase hasn't quite piqued my interest yet, although next week looks to be a return to "critical path" as it were.

And here I was all ready to comfort Ms. Ritter in her time of need.

I don't hate the show by any means, but the showrunners are doing their best to mess up a foolproof concept. People make fun of Kirkman for his writing in the comics, but in terms of world-building, characterization and making me care about what's happening, Kirkman writes circles around the turkeys scripting the

zombies slowly shambling straight at them are easier to hit with months and months of practice than a human firing back from cover.

Lincoln's trying to make chicken salad out of chicken shit no doubt. It really is a terrible plot device that dragged tonight's episode down.  Rick's vague craziness is not interesting.

I was half certain Tyreese was going to roll in and save the day during the Gov attack. It would have been far more economical (and interesting) plotwise if Merle/Darryl met up w/ Tryreese's crew on the road, then have the "surprise" scene of the whole lot coming to fight back the Gov's men.

Ahh..nah. He's just a dude who's been locked up in prison for who knows how long and therefore lacks the social graces around the wimmens. A little creepy that he asked about Beth, but "rapey?" no.

yeah it's kind of annoying.

But those  arms, that sexy, care-free smile of his..uh I mean Lena Dunham IS A FAT UGLY PIG!@#$$%

That's what bugs me about the show in large…that Dunham writes Hannah to be this actively unpleasant person.
