I may be missing something here, but how does Gillian expect to get away w/ the murder and the passing off of Roger as her son? So Jimmy's been gone for a year now and he shows up dead in the same house Gillian is living in?

If you haven't already, you should check out the BBC series "I, Claudius." Sounds like it'd be right up your street.

Damon Lindelof on Twitter made me laugh:
@DamonLindelofMy twitter feed: 38% : "You should write the new Star Wars!" 47% : "Don't fucking touch the new Star Wars!" 15% : Undecided.

I honestly would rather have mind-numbing awfulness that the big-budget pablum pushed out by studios. As jaw-droppingly bad as the prequels were, they are unforgettable in their way.

With the property out of Lucas's clutches the possibilities of something good coming from this are infinitely better. It Lucas was helming the new trilogy then I would feel your pain.

My expectations are absolutely zero with this, and yet I'm fascinated as to where this will go next. Could care less about Lucas "selling out." He did that eons ago. Bring on the new Star Wars w/o Lucas mucking things up.

Yeah, sadistic henchman is perfect role for Merle. I was waiting for him to drop a racial bomb on Michonne, but hopefully the writers have completely nixed that particular character trait.

Love that, and the final line to 'Skeleton' is quite awesome, too.

Funny how AMC didn't care about telegraphing Merle's comeback, even in the "previously on" bit they gave it away. Yeah, it was already the show's worst-kept secret, but still..

I'm wondering if they're going to "go there" myself in terms of what IMO was the most brutal part of the comics' entire run thus far. I kind of hope they do, cuz it's powerful stuff, but that may be pushing it too far for basic cable.

Andrea actually came off as fairly ingratiating after she had time to settle in. Michonne's got trust issues, OK, and I do hope we get more out of her soon than just scowling and looking badass.
