I never finished Haunted either, although more because I thought it was crap than for the disturbing elements. Was there anything as bad as the pool scene?

I brought you something, mommy!

When I was a kid I pulled the paperback of IT off the rack and read the first horrifying chapter when Pennywise gets Georgie. Yowza indeed, especially as an easily frightened and impressionable 10-yr-old.

Yeah, that's another Q&A altogether I suppose.  I was a child of the 80s and remember being terrified when I saw a doc about Ronald Reagan's Star Wars nuke defense system.

Stephen King was a source of much unease in my youth (and yeah the bathtub scene and Gage Creed's exhumation terrified me as well) but I'll share a tale of a tale I read when I was in my 20s.

I don't even mind that the relationship is a cliche of sorts, b/c the two work so good together. And I do enjoy seeing Mcdonald w/ her hair down, in more ways than one. She is gorgeous.

Mcdonald's role is of a person who's a little arch and conservative, and I think she plays it well. I love how feisty she is and the way she calls out Nucky on his bullshit. The chemistry between her and Owen was excellent, too. So agree to disagree with you here.

The whispered conversation between Teddy and his sister was very creepy in a number of ways.

I'm enjoying this new, decisive TWD. I was pretty surprised how quickly Tomas was dispatched, for one. Expected at least another episode or two of the group trying to co-exist among the prisoners. Also, I was legitimately creeped out when the two surviving prisoners were left in that dead quiet cell block lined with

I think he's a goner. The guy was screaming in agony when Rick closed the inner door. As for reasoning I suppose it furthers the thematic point of Rick having to make tough, morally questionable decisions.
