Darabont does like him some melodrama and even w/ him gone the show talked itself into circles last yr. I just hope this episode was a start of some good weekly plot momentum w/o the endless ruminating.

I love comics Andrea, my favorite character of the series. The show has cocked her up something fierce.

Hold on I'm going to grab something to eat and read this again.

I like her, too,  even compared to the other women on the show who are all awful (a crime what the show has done to Andrea IMO) more or less (I liked Carol tonight, though). Plus, the hotness.

Shit I hate grinding.

She was married to that weenie kid that got ripped apart in the RV last season, no? Jimmy? Get yours, Carl.

I was wondering if we were going to get "Ah, bring a brotha to a prison, eh?" line from T-Dog. There's still time.

Yay I wasn't the only person thinking RPG while watching this episode. Trash mob of weak zombies on the outside, inner walls had armored variety. Need a fire zombie or a big fat one that explodes and delivers corrosive damage (ok mixing genres here but u get me)

TWD does not fuck about with the violence and gore. The ankle chopping was indeed harsh.

A reboot of sorts is exactly what TWD needed. Not every episode is gonna be wholesale zombie slaughter, but i like the character focus I saw here, even w/ Carl, who's a pretty badass kid in the comics (and a much more interesting character as a result). Stow the navel-gazing, the philosophizing, and bring more of what

I was knocked out by the movie when I first saw it, when I was a college kid taken in by that kind of moodiness and self-loathing. Haven't seen the flick in years and wonder what it would be like to go back to it. I kind of don't want to watch it again b/c I can see myself being annoyed not by Spacey/Benning so much
