"And then I had a piece of toast" has been my go to conversation filler line since middle school. It always revives a conversation. Either people love Futurama or they love toast.

I enjoyed this Mcsweeneys column, and it made me find Eisenberg slightly less annoying but all the more pretentious. Still, some pieces would lend themselves well to dramatization; the privileged boy's damaged, divorcee mother is a character I'd relish seeing onscreen.

lol I almost pissed my pants when they showed up at the Unity Concert. Then I went ahead and pissed them when they started playing The Crane Wife. It was one of the greatest moments of my life. Parks and Rec always seems to find interesting ways of incorporating my obsessions.

Cannot wait for this to come back! I want Josh Hartnett to do more gay things. Not with Dorian Gray, cuz he sort of looks like a foot…maybe Timothy Dalton?
Also, Eva Green can get all my cookies; she's phenomenal in this show.

Disney did a TV movie about the events of Selma on ABC, I believe in the late 90s-early 00's called Selma, Lord, Selma. It viewed the events through the eyes of a young girl who had gotten involved in the activism after meeting MLK while playing outside. It was a Disney movie so it was pretty sanitized but Jimmie

I was ready to forgive all blunders that could've been conceived of this adaptation…until they cut out the musical climax (and emotional truth) of NO ONE IS ALONE…

No One is Alone…This is a musical article, so I couldn't resist.

Great review. I have a small qualm that may amount to something larger at least thematically.

Well actually, the Killer lyric is  "..or are we denser", so your point is moot. The cited Interpol line is awesome, as is TOTBL in its entirety.

After such a symbolic and surprisingly understated finale , the only thing I really want to say is: I knew there was a reason I found that last bit of Signal 30 where Rory Gilmore draws a heart in the fogged up window of her car, and then rolls the window down, so poignant. After the finale, and finding out what her

I will wait for you.

I will wait for you.

So here goes a crazy theory? Pema (or whatever her name is) broke up Tenzin and …Chief Beifong.
That is all.

I am an iTunes advocate for watching the show. I can usually download the ep around 3am, so either I stay up to watch it or watch it the next day. No commercials and the season pass is like 20 bucks. I have cable, but I cant watch it with the ads and commercials (not at all ironic with a show about advertising). The

I think the fact that there are mixed benders in Legend of Korra is a sign of the unity of the nations after Aang ended the war. There must have been a generation of a lot of inter-national relationships to produce families like the bending brothers in Legend of Korra.

Ugh, I know, Lisa looks like something I scraped off the bottom of my shoe last night at the club.

I totally kept up with the news surrounding the sequel, of course yes. But I didn't see any of the leaked scenes or anything, and was still pleasantly surprised at the quality of the animation style, despite my primer and obvious fan-nitude.

Loved it…will watch the second episode on korranation on saturday. I love that they went with a more fluid sophisticated animation style. Legend of Aang was beautifully animated, but I can tell that this is going to be on a whole new level.
