I mean, even without the specific bits I took offense to, I think the last two episodes were pretty dull.

Whereas you rape apologists are totally deep.

I'm not "choosing to ignore" a thing that hasn't happened. If it happens, I'll talk about it then. As of now, Max is being treated like shit by the show.

Except Flint did have the page at that point, so yeah, irrelevant.

The issue is not that these aren't plausible explanations, the issue is that the show decided not to provide us with explanations, so you have to make assumptions like that in order for the show to make sense.

So, you judge shows entirely by how much money they cost and what network they're on?

Hey, it's all right, commit to your noncommittalness!

Right, Hayley's reaction to the idea of arranged marriage did not suggest that she or the show thought it was a bang-up idea.

Dunno about hot sexy werewolfs, but it was a bit annoying that Josh was referenced as doing something without actually appearing in the episode. #TeamJosh

Right. As a character she was useless. She existed as a plot device.

Entirely understandable. I reviewed that one, as I recall, introduced the utterly useless character Sage as if she was important.

I think that was in the 1920s, not 1912.

He's actually one of the actors I liked most in the episode, though his character had little to do.

He's the Rugged Bosun

got it in one.

Captain Flint even suggests that he's going to be the Pirate King. So I'm excited for H. Jon Benjamin to show up.

She's new, I think, so there's no real reason to know who she is.

I don't think it's necessarily true, but network execs believe it is, and we're living in their world.

Thanks. Yeah, I knew I'd seen competence porn used before, but my google searches as to its origin were oddly unspecific.
