OK, now I have a fantasy that the producers shot two different endings to this plotline, depending on how the presidential race goes. They've invested a lot in it so far.

Good point! We also know that they had similar upbringings (to a point). Both are ridiculously successful, but for different reasons. Maybe there's something to this. Almost like the "Kenneth is immortal" plot, but more subtle.

IMO, yes this episode was a little flat (too much political grandstanding instead of wacky humor), but the last two minutes completely made up for it. Can't wait for next week!

I liked this episode quite a bit, but I agree that it was a bit more twisty and turny then the typical episode. The Jenna plot resolves itself quickly, then resurfaces in a different form later. Almost like they had a bit too much plot for just one episode.

Liz's panic over the "Jenna is 56" article was just too awesome (as was Kenneth's seduction scene). I almost wished they'd made that a running gag for the whole episode (culminating with some sort of nuclear explosion in Jenna's dressing room when she finally sees it), but the twist was pretty good in its own right.

I just rewatched the last minute of "Paradise" and they could've easily resolved it in a more satisfying manner with a couple of changed lines:

Not really relevant to this episode, but it just occurred to me that we never actually see a Ferengi marauder or a DaiMon at any point on DS9. We see them all the time on TNG, and even once on Voyager, but never here.

It's reminding me of Season 2. The whole season was great, but the final four episodes were just fantastic. I think it was largely because they lost so many episodes with the Writers Strike that they had to really focus to get everything done.

I don't care for Hazel either, but I actually didn't mind her part last week. She seemed a bit more…toned down, or something. I can't put my finger on it.

I liked the premiere more, but this episode was great too. I did feel like the introduction of Kenneth's family was a bit low-key, especially after the years of buildup, but maybe that's the best way to play a Kenneth storyline. Too much of him can be a bad thing.
