Oh there is no way their not going to recreate that cover on the screen, it's too iconic to pass up.
An aside about Don't Stop Blelievin'
Can we bury that song already? I'm from MI and every time I go home some assholes gotta play that song at the party or the bar or whatever so everyone can hoot and holler when he says "South Detrooooooiit", you're not from south Detroit, you're not from Detroit at all you're from…

Love Songs… sorta.
Isley Bros: Why When Love is Gone
The Hives: Love in Plaster
Bo Diddley: You Can't Judge A Book By It's Cover
The Waitresses: No Guilt
NWA: I ain't tha one
Eh
I liked Science Of Sleep more than most and she was one of my favorite parts but the only song I ever heard from her had a line that was like "And these songs that we sing do they mean anything to the people we're singing them to? People like you". It was like an 18 year old doing their first open mic.

When's Bill from Freaks and Geeks gonna get a movie? Remember that episode where his mom dates the PE teacher? I got choked up, the guy has chops is all I'm saying. He was pretty good in Knocked Up too.
I wanted Chris Pine too, but you can't be the captain of America AND space, them's the rules.
I'll agree with that statement.
You missed Moonwalker:
It was mopey and washed out, and all Supes did was lift stuff. Superman movies should have some pep and a formidable foe (say Brainiac or Metallo, maybe Bizzaro) that's why people loved Superman II so much. He's not character that should really ever be done "dark" (ugh).
That article ended up predicting not only "The Incredible Hulk" but Hulk Feet. Hulk was right.
this is this is the song that doesn't end…
They could've still had the early punk look and sold it: leather jacket, tight pants, messy hair, a ripped up shirt, mirrored shades, maybe a dog collar, or just a really tacky pieced together mod suit. It still would've stood in contrast to the disco guido types.
Clarissa had very appropriate tastes for a qurky teenage 90s girl though. I remember the show name checking Queen Latifah in an early episode and later on Pearl Jam, Arrested Development, and Nirvana.
and they'll continue singing it forever just because…
His Hollywood Minute show on Comedy Central
wasn't so bad, it's what he did best anyway, it fit right in before the Daily show too.
some people started singing it not knowing what it was…
"… plus he hates tomorrow"
"I hate it so much!", that was really funny and really cute to me.
Eternal Sunshine had some really fresh visuals and an engaging, original plot, but ye gods, do I ever hate the two lead characters.
