The difference between Moynihan and Farley/Belushi is the latter two were actually party guys in real life so not much acting was involved. Moynihan comes off as a polite and reserved fellow so it feels forced and awkward when he tries to play the party guy persona.

I thought this was the strongest episode so far by a long shot. The visual gag of McBride dramatically throwing away the binder in the small hotel room trash can got a guffaw out of me. The show still has a way's to go, and I feel like I'm in the minority in not buying into Goggins' character. He is just written as

Haha, or when Janice is giving Tony shit for giving Bobby and her a hard time and all she has to do is mention the toy trains for Tony to explode "HE'S A GROWN MAN!"

Agreed on Gandolfini. IMHO the best performance by any actor in any media ever. Especially amazing when you consider he sustained the performance for 86 some-odd hours.

Bobby's best toy train-related quote from the series: "Check out the Moe and Joe action!" delivered excitedly to his uninterested son, while wearing a conductor's hat

Well when you're done being in love you should come over to my place. I got a waterbed.

I just discovered the OSW Review video podcast and don't know if I can ever go back to strictly audio wrestling recap podcasts. Just the quality of video and attention to detail in editing each episode simply blows me away.

Once he mentioned WWF New York I was really hopeful that was the location he was taking business lunch meetings at, and not, as the case was, using it as a geographic marker to bring in Bubba Gump as his go-to meeting spot.

Hey Ronnie, how's your dick hanging? Low, I hope…

It was common knowledge in Hollywood comedy circles that Harold Ramis, in his heyday, was the absolute best at punching up scripts. Nobody even came close to his ability in that regard.

People know how to die in Chicago

His wholly improvised and uncredited role in Tootsie!

Nah son, Tim Robinson had the only good episode of The Characters.

So I'm not super familiar with Lauren Lapkus' work but I get she is kind of a big deal in the CBB! world. Is her brilliance limited to character work? I ask because man oh man she was dull on Doughboys last week.

I for one kind of dig BEE's grumpy old gay man shtick. It translates really well in the Anthony Jeselnik interview, but then in subsequent episodes it's kind of a marvelous trainwreck (i.e. his argument against #OscarsSoWhite and the awkward as fuck interview he did with Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein).

Luxury Lounge has some comedic gold in it - Chris punching Lauren Bacall in the face and stealing her gift basket and basically every interaction Chris has with Sir Ben Kingsley.

12. What was it like being punched in the face by Ken Marino?

If you would've asked a diehard Sopranos fan in 2007, Matthew Weiner and Terence Winter: who goes on to create one of the most iconic series in television history and who goes on to create two incredibly mediocre, disappointing series, the answers would've been wrong.

I'll have an Arnold Palmer. You know, I always enjoy them but it never occurs to me to order one!

Seeing as how LD's daughter is dating Pete Davidson from SNL, I wouldn't mind a storyline featuring LD coming to terms with his daughter dating Pete Davidson from SNL.
