Have you seen The X-Files? She's got comedic timing all over that sumbitch.

Funny AV Club of all places called it out. I caught a glimpse of the Fish in those pink shades on a highlight and thought Deadspin or Kissing Suzy Kolber absolutely have to have a hot take on THIS!
I loved North as a kid. Haven't rewatched it since, but I was a bit surprised to learn everyone loathed it. Hook on the other hand, I loved as a kid and still love and fuck anyone who says it isn't a fun time.
I kind of dig it. It's a "just-got-home-pajama-pants-take-priority-over-taking-off-my-tie" look that I can appreciate.
It didn't make either of his big stand-up specials, but my favorite Mulaney bit is when he was 10 or 11 and his dad was driving a car full of kids to school and they passed a McDonald's. All the kids started chanting "McDonald's! McDonald's! McDonald's!" Without saying a word, his dad pulls off into the drive-thru,…
The Break-Up is definitely not horrible! I get some kind of weird enjoyment out of it, and will always be cool with having it play in the background when I'm barely paying attention.
He's ugh…alright in Clay Pigeons, I suppose.
As someone who's painfully aware of Marah Eakin's history of musical criticism, I'll kindly request that she never, ever use the phrase "rap game" again, in any context. Please 'n thanks.
Can time count as distance? The (clingy) Chuck Wood brings it home with this jam, Seven Days is Too Long: https://www.youtube.com/wat…
I've noticed the Hader/70s Aykroyd similarities ever since Hader started on SNL. He was on Kevin Pollak's chat show where he did a hilarious albeit brief impression of Aykroyd cornering him at an SNL after party and drilling him about the importance of hiring a business manager at a rate, not a percentage.
He totally gives off that "sure, I'll stop to talk to a fellow nerd about nerd things for an extended length of time" vibe.
"Mom wants to know if you guys want grape drink"
What's everyone lookin' at my gut fer?
Not to be all fashion police here but Hardwick showed up on my TV once in an unbuttoned plaid shirt/t-shirt under combo with a buttoned blazer over it. I've never really LIKED him but I've hated him ever since.
Clay Pigeons. First time I watched it I was floored at how great Vaughn was, but the second time I watched it I noticed his "accent" drifted in and out the whole movie. I could never tell if this was the result of bad acting/directing or a conscious decision based on the character.
Today I discovered the Mom on Pop podcast and the day is better for it. This conversation made me giggle uncontrollably.
Head over to The Dissolve — it's where the AV Club's former talent now resides and continues to churn out quality content. Funny how the mass exodus directly coincided with the surge of lazy posts like this.
Good god, that interview. It was 50 or so minutes and Armisen/Brownstein talked for a grand total of 5 minutes, maybe. Felt like they were blindsided by the direction Ellis took with every question and didn't feel comfortable joining him with where he was going.
Goo was basically the modern day version of Eddie Haskel. Butt kissin' the parents while being a total dick behind the scenes.
That Cocktail Hour short was like a bad impersonation of the legendary Kids in the Hall, Girl Drink Drunk sketch: http://www.youtube.com/watc…
