I keep going back to Proshai, Livushka as my all-time favorite Sopranos episode. Hard not to get choked up at the end with Tony sipping scotch and shedding tears over the end of Public Enemy because his mother was never and, now, would never be a loving mother.

So long, Dierdorf. It always sounded to me like he got booth boners over every punt on 4th and inches from midfield and every field goal from inside the 5-yard-line.

I require a scene of Antoine teaching his children the Ghostbusters theme!

Danny Brown - Old
Yo La Tengo - Fade

Prez connected with his students by teaching them math over shooting dice. The Bunk? High fives and nostalgic reminiscing over his student's first case of the clap.

Agreed. Suttree has the funniest McCarthy writing right next to some of his most beautiful. Two scenes come to mind: Harrogate telling Suttree he'd give $10 for a glass of ice water, cash, after a day of digging underneath the city streets.

Never in my wildest imagination did I ever dream I would have sons like these.

Except when he's not being, ya know, aggressively unfunny as is often the case.

I'd give my left nut for a P.T. Anderson adaptation of Suttree with Joaquin Phoenix as 'ol Sut

A- happy!?

Yeah I'd have loved to hear about filming that bathroom scene with Bill Murray in Stripes. "I'd like to take a biiiig swing at you, Sarge."

Fuck Doug Loves Movies. Granted HDS was struggling his way through it but it didn't help that none of the other fucking guests knew any of his work outside of that John Hughes movie and Repo Man.

Two-Lane Blacktop is my all-time favorite road movie even though HDS only has a tiny tiny role. Still, it's all worth it just to hear James Taylor in bad-ass mode: "Make it three yards motherfucker and we'll have ourselves an automobeeel race!"

Bachelor Party is great. Tom Hanks is so fucking unhinged and manic throughout that entire movie - I swear, if memory serves he basically laugh-shouts every one of his lines.

"Really ugly ghosts"? Homeboy doesn't know who Slimer is! Get 'er!

Correctamundo!

Absolutely loved his Irish-Catholic response to his son's unhappiness at school: "Do you think I'M happy!?"

Absolutely loved Nucky's righteous indignation when he's dressing down his Florida buddy: "Coconut DRINKS!"

Of course Van Alden doesn't like surprises.

You're on a gravy train with biscuit wheels!
