Um, aren't the Before movies already doing this?

Boyhood 2: Can I Crash On Your Couch, Bro?

Nesmith is a hugely, hugely underrated talent. Alt-country in particular really owes him a lot.

Tork tends to be an underrated part of the band. The guy can apparently play anything and is an effective vocalist when he's used right (Try and imagine "Words" without his back-up..)

I've played this song three or four times in a row before. Really, really underrated.

They're apparently making some big plans for their 50 anniversary next year. Really, really, really hope they come around my neck of the woods.

I especially like the breakdown at the end. "Bye, bye, bye, bye, bye, bye…"

As far as I know, Kelsey Grammer seems to mainly keep his politics to himself; he's not ranting about how Obama wants to steal our guns. Ratzenberger's the one who hung out at Tea Party rallies…

    Show me that smile again
Don't waste another minute on your SUCKING!!!

Exactly. Boyhood seemed like the perfect storm of Oscar: indie and high-brow without being too off-putting or weird. The fact that something as strange as Birdman could clean up gives me some odd hope for the future…

The rest of the Oscars could have been presented in Epseranto and it still would have been worth sitting through for Graham Moore's speech.

In an ideal world, Under The Skin would be Best Picture, but I'm more than happy with Birdman. No complaints there.

Yeah, NPH didn't bomb or anything, but I won't be surprised if he isn't asked back.

Between tonight and the Tony Bennett album, she's really starting to win me over. Hopefully she'll ease up on her obsession with being famous and just focus on making good music. She definitely has the goods.

I had to look up Interstellar's Wikipedia page to clarify how it actually ended because of dialogue being drowned out by the score. I was more than happy to see Grand Budapest get it.

Infamous wasn't very good (and was doomed to live in the shadow of Capote, anyway), but Bullock did quite well in it. Between that and Gravity, I'm curious to see what she chooses to do in the future…

I don't think Magnolia has aged all that well and Tom Cruise still nailed it. Easily his best work.

And that's what's going to happen with Julianne Moore tonight. She should have won it for Boogie Nights.

Well, he was playing the Master. Those big red hands are pretty shameless…

I still think Election is the best film of 1999. It's aged a hell of a lot better than Fight Club or American Beauty.
