Most likely, yes. You learn more about their background/inner selves as the show goes on. Also, why are you not just watching the other seasons instead of rewatching season 1?

I was never worried about this show being cancelled, but for a long time it looked like the fifth season was going to be the last so I am psyched to hear that we get two more years of it.
Swoopy Salvo isn't bad until you try to go for the DK Coin and bonuses, then it's a major Fuck Off level.
I agree that Adventure Two is rough, but I actually found that the Future Fun Land levels were easier than some of the others. I had a hell of a time with the Dragon Forest silver coin challenges though.
I think the travel agency is real, because Stan came in one time to book something. P&E are just absentee owners; I worked for a small company where the owner was the same way, he would appear from time to time but in large part let other people run the company for him. So not terribly weird. Plus P&E have the bonus…
I kind of think Henry is there partly to show that the KGB picked the wrong kid to recruit. Henry would have rolled with things much better than Paige, I think. Just like the succession of monarchs, being the oldest doesn't necessarily mean you're the best choice.
This episode had some odd shot choices. The overhead shots of Gabriel cooking were stylized in a way that this show doesn't normally do. And the way Gaad's face was framed in the scene in his office I found distracting. Usually they do not have cinematography that calls attention to itself like that so I was kind of…
Are they setting up Martha for death by drug interaction? I was worried about her when she was having wine with her Valium.
Ernie seems too square to be driving a Lancer, but I guess that's a nod to the early 2000s time period, like Kim's Eclipse.
I agree, I think this episode was an A but some of the other ones that were given an A didn't quite hit that mark. All of the episodes this season have been very good, but if you give As out all the time it makes the grades almost meaningless.
I'm not sure how much Kim/HHM prepared and how much came directly from Mesa Verde. It looked like there was at least one letter with the address on it that was written by Paige.
I think we will see something happen with the Cinnabon stuff, there has to be more to it than just showing us how miserable Jimmy will be in a handful of years. Or at least it would be a real letdown if there wasn't.
I thought that at first too, but after thinking about it more I realize why he graded it that way. This was a good episode but nothing super amazing or explosive happened. Erik needs room to move the grade up when we get to an episode where shit really goes down. The TV Club grades tend to be so inflated that anything…
At the time I thought she was talking about Oleg and was exaggerating to make it sound more compelling to Evi, it did not occur to me at all that she actually had a husband.
Divorce definitely seems possible, because from what little we saw their marriage seems pretty bland. But her dying would better explain why people tolerate Chuck's illness. If it was a divorce situation someone would probably tell him to suck it up, move on and stop being an electricity-fearing hermit, but if she…
One song I think would be perfect for this show is Pale Shelter by Tears for Fears.
I don't see that because I don't think Chuck would even talk to Jimmy after something that bad. I am wondering if Rebecca died and if that is why everyone is so tolerant of Chuck's illness.
This gets a bit old after the first handful, but I did get a good laugh out of the Dr. Strangelove one.
I read elsewhere that they did not change any storylines for her pregnancy. Although I imagine Elizabeth will be wearing a lot more big coats this season.
But isn't Jimmy acting with malicious intent when he scams people? He means well now as a lawyer, but Chuck probably can't separate the scammer and the lawyer in his mind. I think Chuck's refusal to accept that Jimmy could change his ways has set up a self-fulfilling prophecy of sorts.
