I just bought this Blu-ray from a Scream Factory sale, along with Return of the Living Dead, The Sentinel, The People Under The Stairs, and Assault on Precinct 13.
I've been looking forward to rewatching it. It didn't make much of an impression on me as a teenager, but think it could easily be more clever than I had

It's dated, but still an interesting watch. It's nowhere near as dated as Tales from the Darkside or Monsters. I wouldn't say it's scary at all, but it's at least fun.

I already have all of the Tales From the Crypt seasons, but I was a little curious as to what a reasonable price for the whole set is, since I usually got pairs of seasons for $20.
According to camelcamelcamel, the lowest price they've had for the whole series was $64.99!

You got to know how to pony. Like Bony Maronie.

I was saying boo-urns.

I can't wait to hear his version of Scenes from an Italian Restaurant!

"I was saying boo-urns."

Season 1 was released on disc as an Amazon exclusive. Season 2 is up for preorder on amazon.co.uk. So… it will probably make it to the US eventually.

What about Scorsese remastering the movie? Is this the same project? If so, what about the additional scene he found from the workprint?

Seeing this discussion makes me think there's a bigger world out there that I had no idea existed.

Maybe Tommy and Corey would like to get together and work on a project…?

The Iron Fist Epic is more interesting than I expected it to be. The writing is very peculiar, since most of the narration is in 2nd person, and there are occasionally some really advanced vocabulary words used.

I recorded a cover of I Am the Walrus that I finished up back around March or so. I incorporated a variety of samples from the Republican primary.
When I was trying to find ideal lines from Trump, I realized that most of them weren't especially funny, they were mostly just dumb. On the advise of my wife, I went with

I've mostly been reading Marvel's Epic Collection line. I'm about 3/4 through the first Daredevil volume right now, but I also have both volumes of Moon Knight, and Power Man/Iron Fist volumes to read. Plus I bought one of those cheap Showcase volumes of DC horror comics. So… that'll take awhile

I consider family bonds to be entirely negotiable. Just because a relative is a relative doesn't mean they're a good person. It doesn't mean that they're deserving of being loved.
(Of course, The Art of Loving brings up the issue of motherly (unconditional) and fatherly (conditional) love. It could just be because

I was first exposed to it through my brother, back when I was around 3rd-4th grade. Of course, I didn't understand the sexuality so much. But I really came around to the music. I still listen to it fairly often, and I appreciate some of the clever layering going on.
I'm curious to see the new version, but I don't

I was gonna rip his heart out cause I'm the best ever. I'm the best ever. I'm the most brutal and vicious, and most ruthless champion there's ever been. There's no one can stop me. Lennox is a conqueror? No, I'm Alexander, he's no Alexander. I'm the best ever. There's never been anybody as ruthless. I'm Sonny Liston,

In response to hearing that I've been more numbed, my prescriber upped my dosage and added a mood stabilizer.
The result is that it did eliminate the sexual side effects, but it also has made me more prone to feeling constantly angry.
The prescriber said that would go away, and it did, at least for awhile. So now, I

Rosebud…. Rosebud frozen peas. Full of country goodness and green pea-ness.

I think I was a little more on board with the complaints about Misty Knight at first, but after stepping my way through the show slowly, and having more time to think about it, she worked very well. The season is an origin story for her, and she is gradually moving away from being a cop to being a PI.
