I think I would love to see Christopher Guest and Crispin Glover team up on some sort of project.

Another strange synchronicity of the AV Club reporting on something right after I watched it.
This one was more fun than I expected. It's great to have campers there, ramping tension up. Similar to the way that the dog was used in the second one.

I tried reading The Time Machine Did It… and I actually couldn't stand it. He's moderately amusing, but he's funnier when he's filtered through the other writers, who know how to pluck the gems from his work. Otherwise, his work usually comes across as wacky for wacky's sake, which gets boring very fast.

I hear that they reveal that the Joker's mother is named Martha as well.

That's because it doesn't require as much attention as most shows.

I've heard that it's effective to set a goal for number of rejections.

I'm working on learning to play drums.
I've played guitar for… a little over 20 years, along with bass as needed. I've written lots of songs, recorded a lot, learned a lot about arranging.
I learned a bit about drumming from playing Rock Band.

I had watched through the movies a long time ago - probably during the late 90s, so I still have a general sense of the direction that the franchise took. But now I'm more likely to split the experience into good and bad things.

I decided to revisit the Friday the 13th movies, starting this last weekend. I've since watched 2, 3 and 4: The Final Chapter.
A few observations:
- The score is fantastic. I wish horror movies were this classy now. While stabs are timed to go with scares, the dynamics aren't as ridiculous as modern jumps are.

I can't speak as to how useful therapy will be for you. For some people, it seems beneficial. For me… I'm also bothered by the lack of useful information.
Part of the point of therapy is to get us to think about our actions, our behavior, etc, in order to understand them. The problem is that I already do that, far

No, this is accurate. It is slowly paced, and I think that ruins how re-watchable it is.
The minimal dialogue approach is part of what made it work for me. I spent so much time trying to figure out what the characters were trying to say or do.

I didn't feel like he was developed enough to be described as a sociopath. He mostly just plays the whole thing in a business-like way.

This does make me curious about what the preferred condiment choices are by political party.

I've seen all of the horror movies mentioned, and the Witch is the clear winner of them. Green Room was far less engaging than I expected, and I felt like they wasted the opportunity to have Patrick Stewart turn in a great villainous performance. The movie isn't bad at all, but just doesn't live up to expectations.

And yet… I seem to be the only person who used the phrase in this thread, besides you complaining about people using the phrase too much.

I think this looks more promising than BvS or MoS. I still think that the color palette is a problem though.

I think we all wonder that now and then. More often in this election cycle.

I got goosebumps during the "I see you" bit.

I like Quantum of Solace, and my impression has been that most Bond fans have come to like it more than they initially did. If anything, the only part I really don't like is the beginning, since I hate how they shot and edited the opening car chase.

I watched the blu-ray a couple months ago, and I was really taken with how much energy Tim Curry brought to the role. While it was a charismatic part, he does so much even when he isn't the focus of attention.
