Hey, did you get a load of the nerd?

I think I'm the only person who knows what Larsen did for SM's design.

My first thought was toothpaste.

Yeah, there's such a thin line between clever and stupid, really.

"It's a think piece… about a mid-level band struggling with their own limitations in the harsh face of stardom."

After reading this, I went out and watched it.
And it's better than I expected. It moves a little slow, but it's still marvelously compact.
I kind of wish the sound had been cleaned up a little, but still… once the blu-ray isn't $27, I think I'm willing to buy it.

I really love Parents, in a non-ironic way. I wish it would get a blu-ray release. I bet the colors would really pop.

Ahem. LA Story demands to be acknowledged.

I really like Burn After Reading. I liked it, but I didn't love it, after the first viewing, but since then, I've come around.
I also really, really love Intolerable Cruelty.

I bought Scream Factory's blu-ray double feature of Ghosthouse and Witchery. I bought it specifically for Ghosthouse, which is a terrible movie, but I haven't been able to get it out of my head since I saw it around 96 or so.

No one picked A Hard Day's Night or Help!?

At least I got it.

I'd like to point out that there have been very left-wing songs that I really liked for awhile, but now, even if I still agree with the sentiment, they don't work any longer.

The theme from The Love Boat.

The Gleaming Spires - All Night Party
(Best known from the nerd party in Revenge of the Nerds.)

The head looks right, but I think she'd have to put some weight on to do the part justice.

I wonder if they would ever do a Squirrel Girl series…

Well, I seem to be in the minority here. I actually do like the song, and I did own the album it was on (A Different Story?)
For a one-guitar band, they were really pretty solid.
(Yes, on the studio recordings, the solos are added onto the rhythm track.)

This is interesting, since my wife is an attorney (or at least, a non-practicing JD from UVA) and she didn't correct my interpretation or point out what you did.

As I stated (in a comment nearby) I interpreted her actions as an entirely lawyerly thing to do - she was preserving evidence that Kilgrave impregnated her client. I thought it was a pretty smart thing to do.
