There was about 45 minutes of trailers at the theatre I went to - as soon as I heard the beginning of the song I nipped out. 007-like-strategy right there.

Can you imagine though?! Could be brilliant.

Hey - not for nothing, as a stranger commenting on a TV show review, but I hope it all works out for you.
Be sweet to yourself, be sweet to others, and don't put up with anyone that isn't sweet to you.

The whole butter commercial thing is far and away my favourite part of the show.

It seems unlikely to me I would have ended that sentence with an exclamation mark.
Though I'd say the point stands.

Sorry, what are you on about?

This! They somehow manage to create curves if you don't have them (if you cinch in the waist), but if you have curves, they can nicely emphasise them without making you looking like you're busting out all over.

Night before Hallowe'en, you mean? My husband used to call it Devil's Night - here in the UK I hear a Northerner call it 'Micky Night' awhile ago.
I'm from the Pacific Northwest and I don't recall having a name for it at all, or it being any sort of thing.

We-e-e-e-ll I don't know if I'd take anything Whitney said at face value. "Was in the same room with me and holding a gun" would very quickly become "Pointed a gun at me!!!" in Whitney world.

Oh, I'm agreeing with you - sorry, my comment wasn't very clear.

Yeeaaaaah… the idea that a bunch of new hires or lower-ranked associates would risk their jobs to remind an old man he's old seems way far out there.

I'm not sure if they have, but I know it was renamed Lockhart, Agos, and Lee at the end of last season, and David's still there…

I'd imagine any request by a potential client for a business card is just met with a heavy sigh.

One of mine, too!

I'd like to see Cary do ANYTHING that isn't "bicker with an old man".

I'm pretty sure if the reference was meant to be to gay jokes, the show would have said so, or someone would have brought up how anything that could be seen as homophobic would have been a much bigger scandal.
I think it's just that everyone thinks of Lee as a conniving weirdo.

Sometimes I wonder how this firm even gets and keeps clients.

Plus, the election stuff with Peter. None of his election stuff has been interesting - actually, nothing Peter has done in about 5 seasons has been interesting.

Do we know the reference was to gay jokes, with David Lee? I kind of liked how it was left ambiguous. Maybe they just joke about what an opportunistic weasel he is.
I say this as a huge fan of the drama-loving weasel that is David Lee.
