Agreed—So happy to see this covered again. Certainly ups my enjoyment of an already disgustingly enjoyable show. Thanks!

Where's Tugboat-dad?
I was so bummed during what should have been Kenley's friends/family segment. She's gonna do all that talkin' about Mr. Tugboat and then not introduce him to us? Maybe she just made that up as part of her quirky backstory.

So happy
I watched the first two episodes of season one, and was underwhelmed enough to stop. Tuned in last night and had such a great time with the tele that I thought I was the one on the first date. Charming, campy, exciting, delightful. And, yes:

my boyfriend kept asking "WHAT is she wearing?" with a why-the-hell-would-anyone-wear-that tone, but I suspect he meant it in a why-the-hell-aren't-you-wearing-that tone.

my first own-money tape
was the Aladdin Soundtrack. Pretty edgy.

Candy corn
I really thought the shocking part of the candy corn in the bed debacle was that it has to be the first time in recorded history that anyone has become excited by the idea of candy corn.

My girlcrush is nontransferable—my heart still belongs to Lauren.

"W"
I really thought the part with "the President" was going to be awful, based on the trailer—but to me that was the highlight of the film. As awful as W is, there's some part of my that really does love America and wants to think he smokes pot and does cool things for people sometimes.

Humble disagreement
Saw this Tuesday, and liked it. It was predictable, yes. However, that doesn't have to be a bad thing. I don't have a problem with a predictable, heartwarming, satisfying film filled with people I really want to (and do) like once in a while.

Man, I can't get enough of that accent. Not in a sexy way…in a way that just makes me feel all bubbly inside. It's awesome. He can keep expository-ing as much as he likes.

I was a little choked up about Dale and Richard's lovey-doveyness as well. Who knew it was fun to watch collaboration and not just cutthroat competition?

You know what I liked about Zoi? Talking about her during the show and pronouncing her name distinctly as zoi and not zoe. Zoi. Rhymes with Toy. Try it; it's awesome.

I was thinking the same thing, man. His eyes were vacant like a route 66 motel.

Oh, they're all a little glorious. Some of them you have to be dedicated for though—import-only status. Each album has at least two songs that are unbelievable laughable, and combined with him being such a giant star outside of the US it just makes it a fascinating study. Watching or reading anything about him adds

Archie
I'm back on the David-Archuleta-Tamale-Train as well. I'll admit, I tiny-bit freaked out when he started singing Angels. I heart Robbie Williams like no real American should. (Oh lawdy, he's so terrible. I devour it like Reese's Pieces.)

American Idol + TiVo are a match made in heaven. Invest! (also, Spanx)

Lauren
Still the most beautiful one, still unbelievable to me that she can't put one foot in front of the other. Do y'all think that's real, or just something she puts on?

Oh yeah? Well I loved it. Haven't seen it since I was like 12 though.

Dominique=23?
I hadn't noticed before last night that Dominique is only 23. Dominique looks about 35, I'd say. How is it possible that she's younger than me? That girl's lying.

To mean what though?
