My CD collection has had a revolving door policy since forever. There are some things I'll never trade, but there are others that I will buy used from one place, knowing that once I rip it, I'll trade it back in at another place. I had gotten to know all the stores in the area, and what they typically looked for, how

Yep, I rip everything at 320. Bought mp3s don't come with a choice, and sometimes the difference is noticeable. But I'm generally happy with 320. Now, if it's a Surround Sound Mix on DVD/Blu-Ray, well…that's a different story altogether.

Not my cup of tea, sorry. I've tried more than once. Can't make it all the way through in one sitting. It was also around this time that her fans started grating on my nerves as well, so there's that.

More like "Molisorn Asshat", amirite?

What? Speak up!

Ah, I see AVC is covering music people might actually be interested in again, and on what we assume will be a regular schedule. Well done!

Joke or not, it still rocks. And Tori's fans have all but ruined Tori for me (that, and the harpsichord). See also: Phish, jam bands in general. Under the Pink is still pretty unimpeachable, though.

I knew when I saw the "no covers" caveat that I wouldn't see my all-time favorite hidden bonus track: Jawbox's "Cornflake Girl".

I kept playing my Colecovision (with 2600 adapter!) right on through '84-'85. I even played the E.T. & Raiders games on purpose. No one told me I was supposed to be fed up with video games. My transition to the NES was smooth as silk, with occasional stops to play a bootleg of Leisure Suit Larry on my Tandy 1000. Ooh,

Unpopular opinion: Forgetting Sarah Marshall > Four Weddings and a Funeral. It's not without its merits, but I generally stand by my assertion that Groundhog Day is the only movie Andie MacDowell couldn't ruin.

"Be in more awesome" is no "when you someone eat it", but I'll admit that it does have potential.

They're all international sellers. Any experience with getting those in a timely manner without paying a lot for shipping? Or getting those at all ?(Been burned more than once with overseas purchases.) I may have to bite the bullet, 'cause that first track has me hypnotized.

Ugh. I also don't get people who constantly snap blurry pictures of the stage. It doesn't bother me as much as the Google thing; just baffles me. I confess doing it a time or two in the early days of "hey, my phone has a camera!", but unless it's a picture of me with the band or Tommy Lee is currently stuck on a

Saw them last night in Carrboro. It's amazing how much space those 3 can fill up. Bummed I didn't get "Canada" or "Dinosaur Act" as an encore, but it was still a lengthy set and every song was magical.

Lovely. Now, where can I buy it without paying through the nose for an out of print Japanese import?

I know someone who was an extra in Gravedancers. She usually doesn't divulge that information to just anyone. I'll have to tell her she can now wear it as a badge of honor. Nothing to be ashamed of. Nope, nothing at all.

I am legitimately interested to read this new columns (especially Overlook, which sounds like a potential love child of New Cult Canon and My Year of Flops), but I still wanna know: where are the new music features?

Don't rush me; like Van Damme, I'll go in a crap.
