I don't hate mashups as much as the rest of the AVC commentariat, but yeah, this was pretty lame. "Hey, I threw in Alan Rickman and Lemmy at the end—that gives it cred, right? It's totally not a pandering move, promise." Ha! No.

Couldn't hum the tune or even come close to a lyric now, but yes, it was like an STD in my brain.

Those are two songs I actively like, so all is well. Because you needed my approval; you just didn't know it :)

I'm just glad Gabriel was able to take time away from not releasing any new music to go on tour…

I can't appreciate most of the King's early stuff, and actively dislike several tracks, but I find whatever that one that was on the radio incessantly a few years ago so incredibly grating that as the first track I ever heard by the band, it's kept me away for good.

I can appreciate most of the Allman's early stuff, and actively like several tracks, but I find "Ramblin' Man" so incredibly grating that as the first track I ever heard by the band, it kept me away for a while.

"Can I Come in Your Mouth" has been a staple of my Valentine's Day mixes for years now.

"The Last Resort" is the song that made me realize they're more than their greatest hits.

"Lazarus" is great, but the simplicity of "I Can't Give Everything Away", especially after the emotional and cerebral workout of the previous six tracks still tears me up.

Yes to this. I'd also add:
Fascination
Wild Eyed Boy from Freecloud
Breaking Glass
Width of a Circle
Joe the Lion
Aladdin Sane (1913-1938-197?)
Crystal Japan
Bring Me the Disco King
Dead Man Walking (Live from 6A version)

I would love to hear somebody try to tackle all the words to XTC's "Burning with Optimism's Flames"

Ooh, or "Way Down Now"

Bill Withers "Who Is He and What Is He to You"

Falco "Rock Me Amadeus"

Lambchop "Your Fucking Sunny Day"

Low "Canada"

Graham Coxon "Freakin' Out"

Bardo Pond "Again"

Spirit "I Got a Line on You"

Bubble Puppy "Hot Smoke & Sassafras"
