… CANCER AIDS' FLYING CIRCUS!

Well said.  I own a lot of the RVG Blue Note remasters as well as a lot of remastered Impulse! stuff - having been a shithead 15 years or so back and gotten rid of my turntables and records during a move - and while they are technically proficient, and certainly better than any earlier generation of digital reissues,

SIGNS POINT TO YES

Don't you mean, D Sepdrdtion?

Wrong!

Agreed.  Recently I was forced to sit in a room for a few minutes with 2 Broke Girls and I thought my head was going to explode.  Unfunny lines read by untalented "comic [sic] actors" followed by an insipid laugh track every few seconds.  I can't imagine anyone with even a high school education or an IQ over 80

She'll never know what she meant to me.
Whenever I was with her I was always as gentle as I could be.
And now I don't know why, but she's gone away.
And I'll just have to stand on my own two legs.

Albums are becoming less "Important" as a delivery medium so it stands to reason they will start to carry less weight artistically.  That said, this is just a continuation of a process that's been happening since the start of the digital music era.  Frankly, Merriweather Post Pavilion was a nice enough album at the

You mean Joey "Fat Tony" Fatone?

Eyesore!

Well now I see from IMDB the only other live action film Pitt's been in this year is Tree of Life (also a good role but not Oscar worthy).   I guess it only seems like he's in a movie every other week.

You mean Pitt in Moneyball (I'd agree with you) or something else?

Sort of wish I didn't know that.  Would have been clever of the band to have come up with VU "Jesus" as a Christmas song instead of a smartass AV Club editor! :-)

I have finally heard Dawes.

Agreed.  Great 90s indie band that never got their due.  RIP Michael Dahlquist.   And Miracle Mile is an incredible song I never get tired of hearing.

Thanks AV Club for some rare Silkworm love!

I had the same thought.  Maybe a family of 3 each watches 20 hours a week of TV, so the "household viewing time" is 60 hours?  Still, 20 hours a week is a fuckload of TV.  I watch maybe 4 (5 when Futurama is airing new eps).

If the intent was to compare the closeness of the two races in terms of absolute units, it should have referenced absolute units instead of a percentage:

Wrong…even if that was the intent of the sentence — which it clearly was not — then it was still written incorrectly.  In that case, it should have said: "The 419-unit difference between the two albums is the closest finish since November 2007, when Bruce Springsteen's Magic bested Kid Rock's Rock N Roll Jesus by

Beat me to it.
