Is the idea here that Kingsman wasn't a ton of fun, haha?
Is the idea here that Kingsman wasn't a ton of fun, haha?
So…the idea here is that comic fans hate Snyder's Superman because they're cynical?
No Problem is so fucking obnoxious…and he gets absolutely bodied by Jay Electronica of all people on "How Great."
Will it be better than Coloring Book and Surf?
…huh?
Hah, fair enough.
Being white and rich in America is a fundamentally different level of privilege than anything else.
Being a rich Native American man is just fundamentally different from being a rich, blond white guy, though.
I think Immortal fundamentally changed the conception of the character in a way that obviates most of the concerns, especially since the following runs have continued the idea of Immortal-Weapons-as-legacy (I'm not going to read the newest one, because I don't like Kaare Andrews, but still!).
I mean…of course it's specific to the comic.
Huh, I didn't realize there were Nighthawks other than the one from the Gruenwald Squadron Supreme, and the other one from the David Walker series.
Not sure if they ever got married, but she's his main love interest.
The conflict between insane privilege by virtue of birth and outsider status wouldn't be there, though.
Because he's not the best at it?
And the argument that an Asian-American actor should play Danny was based on a fundamental misunderstanding of the character long before Trump was elected!
Of course…Danny isn't even the world's best martial artist!
And if that was an accurate description of Danny's backstory, it would be a huge problem!
Especially since there have been plenty of Asian Iron Fists, haha.
I'm honestly confused as to how Buck apparently managed to coax such a bland performance out of Jones, since it seems like he basically is Danny, in real life.
Danny Rand's defining characteristic actually is that he's a rich, blond, white guy slumming it with Luke, Misty and Colleen in the HfH, haha.
