The entire appeal of his comics character is his dynamic with Luke, Misty and Colleen as a rich, handsome, goofy, white guy slumming it in Harlem.

…and yet if you cast a black/Hispanic/Native American guy, it entirely reconfigures his dynamic with Luke, Misty and Colleen (aka, the entire appeal of the character).
