"I'm chopping off Phyllis's head with a CHAIN SAW!"
"I'm chopping off Phyllis's head with a CHAIN SAW!"
It's okay. I remember reading somewhere that he doesn't actually die. Right?
Season 5 wasn't the greatest, but I'm glad we got to spend another thirteen episodes with those characters, and the finale was spectacular. Plus, the whole season was worth it if only for the montage at the end of "Five-Twenty-Ten" where Walter plays "The Man who Sold the World."
It was really Number 6 all along.
Even though I haven't seen any of the first three BULLET IMPACTs, I found the fourth one surprisingly easy to follow.
Wow, rock and roll. Have you thought about anger management?
@avclub-33807fbc68d335db8080d3c10cb78822:disqus I think I would sooner date Ann Perkins than Karen Fillipelli. Though it's interesting seeing one's choice of either of the two women (Jenna or Rashida) as indicative of how they approach life.
Me too. It's long been a dream of mine to know what they would've rated Classic Office. After a certain point in Season 2 - maybe "Booze Cruise" - it's just As all the way.
…or is he dancer?
"That wasn't Jan… it was a German woman named Urkel-gru."
I hate… so much about the things you choose to be.
"Garage Sale" is one of my late-period favorites. Jim plays a terrific, if cold-blooded prank, Erin has a cute squid, and Pam's efforts to keep Michael from burning down the building lead to some of their warmest moments.
It was offensive. And lame, so… double offensive.
I love to say, "Celebrate. Celebrate good times, come on!" in exactly the way Michael says it. Gets a laugh about a quarter of the time…
Some of my favorite parts of EVERY episode are the ones where Michael is unable to concede the floor or stop awkwardly interrupting.
Flash-forward to "The Merger": "Can't we all just get along? Or we have forgotten the words of the Reverend King?"
@avclub-9c33ea7188cb0fc5d524f4ad1e8d8fc5:disqus Wow, you're fast.
Yeah, that was when I realized "The Office" was turning into "Friends," and by the time they got to the wedding, the transformation was complete.
Yeah, one of the reasons I love the pilot, especially, but most of the first few seasons is because of the intensely realistic, documentary aesthetic. I much prefer the look of these episodes over the "this is obviously a whacky sitcom"-style directing of the later seasons.
Is Jenna Fischer one of the most naturally beautiful women on television, ever? Sure seems like it. Although the receptionist that succeeded her, more than held her own.
