I thought the review was supposed to be a parody.
I thought the review was supposed to be a parody.
"Future Dwight" is definitely in the top tier of "Office" cold opens. But I was actually referring to when Jim comes in dressed as Dwight. "Bears. Beets. Battlestar Galactica."
I think they're just trolling us now.
Ohh, yeah! I should add this one to my list. Best line: "He's going to kill himself… by pretending to kill himself…"
You really can't. Here are mine:
I love the way he delivers that speech. "I swear to God, every single sheet of packing paper… in this town… will have the F word on it. The F word."
I love third season Andy's random blow-ups. "I'm cutting off Phyllis's head with a CHAINSAW… RIGHT NOW!" {stares from the rest of the office} "reeta da deet-doo!"
I only liked this comment because I misread the hashtag and thought it was just randomly shouted Viking nonsense.
I love the episode in the seventh season where Michael opens a closet and Ryan is just sitting there, randomly.
Yeah, the close-up on the puppet's face is iconic.
I think that was early-season Michael's defining character moment.
"Gooooodbye, my lover… goooodbye, my friend!… You have been the one, you have been the one for me!"
I was pondering this moment a few days ago and what makes it so distinct from newer episodes, in which Michael would almost certainly have gone back and explained the joke. But the way it's just thrown out there, unexplained, while Michael moves on to his delivery and Princess Bride-quoting, is genius.
"… well it's not funny. In fact, it's pretty freakin' unfunny. YAAAHHH!"
Not to mention: "I… declare… BANKRUPTCY!!!"
He has a point. That was the episode that made me quit watching initially.
Yeah, what? The whole article was great until this moment.
"I WAS watching. I saw the whole thing!"
By removing the ending? I'm still pretty ticked off about that…
I knew someone. He ended up being a cult leader.
