While I don't think this film is anywhere near the disaster Rabin makes it out to be, it's nice to see the appropriate credit given to "Eastbound & Down" which I believe is one of the most underrated TV shows ever. It's amazing how cinematic it is for a television series. Hill, McBride, and Green do an amazing job.

Say what you will about Sandler but his movies almost always gross over $100 million at the box office. Critically it isn't a great move but it's the best scenario for Samberg if he wants to be in a hit movie.

This movie was actually rewritten by David Wain and Ken Marino (The State, Wet Hot American Summer). It looks like they went uncredited here. I'd pull up a link verifying it but I am far too lazy.

I didn't really agree. While it was outlandish and weird, it was supposed to be uncomfortable,  this is Jody Hill we're talking about.

I'm curious as to what you did on the show. I felt like this season was just as good as the previous ones. People were saying the same shit about the original seasons, Eastbound takes a couple rewatches to fully appreciate.
