So is the AV Club going to ignore the Lena Dunham/Odell Beckham shitstorm?

I rewatched it recently. Jason Lee is so cringe-bad in it. The whole threesome ending plotline is embarrassingly awkward.

Kevin Smith just got outdone by the kids he inspired. Look at Seth Rogen, he's taken the Kevin Smith dick joke formula and actually done a much better and more inventive job than Smith. "This is the End" is what "Dogma" aspired to be without being overly preachy and neckbeardy.

It's funny how much he shit on Hollywood when the Weinsteins are the main reason he ever got films produced.

Early South Park is far more respectable to enjoy than Kevin Smith

Most of his fans have dropped the fuck off since Zack and Miri. He still has a small but fervent fanbase but he certainly alienated the majority of his comedy fans. Just look at the comments here.

The ending really elevated this to a B. Jody Hill knocks it out of the fucking park with music choices.

I highly doubt Seth Rogen had much input into this as he isn't an animator. This is shitty if true but this is very much the norm in animation.

This movie looks like such a generic piece of shit with knockoff Inception visuals

MTV has quietly started airing marathon blocks of Ren & Stimpy weekday mornings.

I saw an interview with him years back where he flat out said "Art School Confidential" flopping put him in movie director jail and nobody would finance anything else he wanted to do.

My problem with the "everything needs to have a socially moral message" crowd is that several amazing films and series have flown in the face of that. If "Goodfellas" came out today, would there be thinkpieces of how sexist and misogynist it was? Maybe the characters are allowed to be pieces of shit, it doesn't mean

I'd rather South Park take some swings at people and groups that normally aren't mocked. It may not be perfect, but it's always funny.

Was shocked to not see South Park Satan on here.

One thing about the critical reviews that's been bugging the shit out of me is how many critics are trying to complain the series is "racist" by having Goggins & McBride fight against Dr. Brown. Even the actress who plays her said those claims are ridiculous and the series appears to have a large supporting cast of

Ferrell just starred in "Daddy's Home" which made $240 million worldwide. I get that you may not care for him but he's still one of the most major comedic box office draws.

They played it VERY briefly. I don't even think it lasted a year on the network.

Rogen & Goldberg have quite the visual flair as far as their directing shows. Glad to see them do this property as much justice as Hollywood could.

You mean Michael Ian Black is co-starring in a series that wasn't canceled? Something's not right here.

I hope it's another restaurant Tom Morello screams at for not seating his party privately.
