Most of the board fails to recognize a reference to "The X-tacles"

Fans of Arcade Fire have sex with their hands

AV Club claims they can't cover "Superjail" because it lacks continuity or would be too difficult to cover.

Adult Swim is really stepping up its game lately
It greenlit a "Black Dynamite" animated series, this Odenkirk show, Delocated, Childrens Hospital, Superjail, the Paul Scheer CSI spoof.

"Eastbound & Down" is shot on 35MM and has to cost HBO a shitload of money because it's shot the same way as a movie budget and schedule-wise

When is "The Life and Times of Tim" coming back?
HBO uncanceled "Tim" last August, so I'm expecting it will return this fall or summer.

"The Foot Fist Way" was far from a perfect film (it had pretty poor acting besides McBride and its budget was student-film low).

It can't be that bad, there's been plenty of great movies that the AV Club has slammed before.

Comedy Central will never live down the cancellation of "Stella"
"Stella" springs to mind as a show that should never have been canceled.

He's pretty creatively involved with "Eastbound & Down" and has directed a large majority of the series.

Mr. Sunshine is so horrible, I feel bad for everyone involved
Mr. Sunshine is one of those shows you watch and just blush the entire time at how fucking awful it is.

What happened to Red-Band trailers being shown in theaters?
Back in the summer of 2008, Regal Cinemas started showing red-band trailers in front of similar R-rated films.

I don't really think "Pineapple Express" and "Your Highness" (as well as "Eastbound & Down") qualify as "bro comedies"

A lot of times I notice these darker comedies get criticized for their "tone" but after seeing so many critics criticize dark comedies for having an inconsistent tone you wonder if they're just expecting cookie cutter comedies and are put off by the extreme violence and macabre humor

Why is "The Rockford Files" next?
According to the 'first half of 2011' post "Family Ties" is supposed to be next up for review-

"Super" looks awesome
I love dark comedies, it sounds a lot like "Observe and Report" which was one of the most underrated movies of the past few years.

Better to get voting advice from South Park than Sean Penn

Sean Penn is a humorless ass
His letter to Trey Parker and Matt Stone over his potrayal in "Team America" was idiotic.

It is one of the best television series in the history of the medium. It is better than good, it is beautiful art.

SHE'S A CHEATING WHORE!
Or better phrased, she always seems to play one in her movies.
