Feig's theory on test screenings is 100% correct
I don't understand filmmakers (especially comedy filmmakers) who refuse to take advantage of the test screening process. Apatow has been a strong supporter of it for years and it seems Feig is echoing him as well.

Universal is really dropping the ball with the marketing of "Paul"
I can't believe this movie is coming out on Friday, Universal has done a horrible job raising awareness and marketing the film.

"Clerks 2" was his best movie in years, which isn't saying much.

I agree with the OP, I also find fault with the fact that Smith seems to think he's opening the doors for a bunch of would-be indie filmmakers that are struggling to get their films out there.

Smith's film haven't aged well. I thought "Clerks" was one of the funniest, insightful films I had ever seen when I was 15 years old.

Probably won't make it to series
Adult Swim greenlits a huge amount of pilots that never make it to series. They usually end up airing the failed pilots at 3 in the morning though.
