Would excessive cocaine use really hold a movie back on the shelf?
It seems that many recent comedies have had excessive cocaine use in them (Hot Tub Time Machine had lots of casual cocaine use in it and Observe and Report had characters shooting up heroin recreationally) so I don't know if I totally buy the whole

Just watched "Barton Fink"
I did not get it at all. Anyone here care to fill me in?

Suncoast Video was awesome
I loved how the stores were almost pitch black and stuff

One of the best Coen Bros. films ever, this news actually pisses me off because now people will probably see "A Serious Man" and think it's ripping off this shitty Will Smith film

Who does David Fincher have to blow to win an Oscar?
Seriously

Biggest Oscar Upset
Has to be "Goodfellas" getting snubbed over that bullshit "Dances with Wolves" movie

This guy is a fucking nutjob
This guy is going to kill somebody. There's no way "Two and a Half Men" is going to resume production at this point.

Broaden its box office appeal?
The film has made over $100 million in the US with an R rating!

What's the most shocking aspect of this film getting greenlit is the massigve $60 million budget, which this film probably won't make back because of its R rating

I read a script review and they said the movie is all the bad parts of "Family Guy" rolled into an R-rated film.

Funny how Hollywood is willing to back anti-semetic Charlie Sheen when he's making them shitloads of money.

Holy shit, he has officially gone apeshit crazy
This guy is going to be dead by the end of the year

John K. refuses to write scripts, he only storyboards. That is plain idiotic, which is why Ren & Stimpy's pacing could sometimes seem to drag on and on.

"Observe and Report" for NCC
Jody Hill's "Observe and Report" is one of those rare movies you walk out of going "how the hell did a studio have the balls to produce this?"

"Get Low" put me to sleep
The performances were fine, but talk about a boring movie

I think the big difference with post-cancellation Family Guy and pre-cancellation Family Guy was the characters just became sketch players for whatever joke the writers wanted to try that week.

Most episodes take 9 months to complete, not 18 months.

That's one fucked up production schedule
How come all the FOX animated comedies are a season or two behind in production to air.

Aw fuck, I retyped my post because it wasn't showing up
