Caddyshack is the David Copperfield of comedies. The main character, Danny, is painfully uninteresting but he's surrounded by such great characters that the story still works. True enough. I'm certainly not going to froth at the mouth about the Suspiria thing. Just seems kinda needless but, hey, if it causes a few people to discover the original, all the better.

That probably shouldn't be remade either.

He's probably quite good. I just don't see the point of remaking Suspiria. It's not necessarily a great movie but it's a singular vision.
