No, I'm Johnny Ray. I cry. Like a lot.

My wife and I thought exactly the same until her friend told us otherwise. I still prefer "word em up" though.
I saw Fastball a couple years after that and they were a surprisingly good live act. A lot of their other songs had a very Replacements-y feel.
I think Fields of Fire might've charted. But that does not diminish the fact that In A Big Country is an insanely great song.
Understanding Jane by Icicle Works is an even better song than Whisper to a Scream.
The local adult alternative station still plays Sex and Candy about a dozen times a week. I'd like to forget about it for a while.
Going Down To Liverpool is a fantastic song. I much prefer their version to the Bangles' one that got some airplay.
Got You Where I Want You fits the same bill. Except for the awful reggae/rap/whateverthefuck in the middle.
That Toadies song is one that I really like in spite of myself. It's kind of a dumb song but that chorus is a hell of a grabber.
Their first 2 records are front to back power pop gems. I think their output got spottier after that but they were still good for a couple of really hooky tunes per album.
Seems like it'd be more fitting if it was a Big Head Todd and the Monsters song.
Don't be such a wimp-le.
Thank you. It's one of those names I've come across a million times but never actually heard out loud.
This is a dumb question I've never quite known the answer to: How is Maysles pronounced? Is it maze-lees or myz-lees or something else entirely?
You should be happy. The original ending was going to be 120 pages of Tom Bombadil rapping.
It's the pronunciation of "scissor" if you happen to be from the Greater Boston area.
We did that with Tecmo Super Bowl. Despite being at UMass, nobody wanted to be the Patriots back then.
They can finally film the classic Spider-Man/Frog-Man teamup where they battled the White Rabbit. With the rise in the number of furries out there, it's the perfect time to give the world a cinematic version of that 4 color fetish.
The classic all-offense white forward of the 80's.
'93 was the one I played to death. Sometimes the season stats would actually keep pace with the play and I believe one season I scored upward of 300 goals with Pavel Bure.
